Cystic Fibrosis, No Circadian

We have cancelled our scheduled set at the Cystic Fibrosis benifit. Its not because we wanted to, its because love is in the air. There is a wedding in the Circadian family, and because of this we cannot play the event. We appologize to anyone planning on going there to see us, but we strongly urge them to keep their plans, and attend this fine event. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation sure could use your help. Again, we deeply regret cancelling, and are currently in talks of scheduling some more shows in the very near future. We're itching to go.

New Stuff is Here!

The EP is finished, and it sounds great. We want to thank Reuven Cocos for the crispy sounds and hospitality. On the homepage of Circadian Music Online, you'll find the links to the songs. Just right-click on them and click "Save target as..." to save them to your computer. We've been recording pretty much all of our practices, so we've decided to offer a track from those barn sessions. More of those will surface soon. The sound quality isn't as good but hey, we were using a 2 track recorder, what do you expect? In other news, Circadian is now on Myspace. We will soon be releasing an exclusive outtake from the EP sessions on our page there, so be sure to watch for it. As soon as show dates come up, we will share them with you. For now, check out the new songs and sites, and we'll see you soon.

In the Lab: Studio Update pt. 2

Principal recording has finished on Circadian's promo EP. In the next day or so, all will be mixed and mastered. Music downloads of these sessions will be available online in the next couple of days, MUCH earlier than previously planned. In my opinion, we got exactly what we wanted out of this project, which was basically a crystal clear glorified garage mix of what we'd sound like live as a trio (with a couple of tiny embellishments). I hopped on a wurlitzer for a minute, and Jimmy D. was seen dancing around the room with a Gibson S1...good times. We can't wait to bring this sound to the road, which is our next step. Keep your eyes peeled for these songs in the coming days. Its shaping up to be a busy year for us.

Circadian Studio Update!

Circadian entered the recording studio this morning to begin work on their upcoming promo EP. It is the first quality recording of the three piece Circadian lineup that has been rehearsing for the past few months. Have no fear, for it will be released as a free download for all to hear when it is completed. The songs will be released on Circadian Music Online in a couple of weeks. After recording, the guys plan on hitting the road to play some live dates. Album talk has also begun...fun stuff indeed. So far, the EP sounds phenomenal. We can't wait for you all to hear it.

Tracklisting for the EP is as follows:

1. Going Alone
2. Take Me Down
3. Amanda Lynn

Something New

This month, Circadian Music Online will begin posting new free music downloads of brand new Circadian songs, taken straight from the barn rehearsal recordings. These are raw, unproduced rehearsal takes, straight from the 2 track, so sound quality will vary (they sound good -ed). For many, it will be the first opportunity to hear Circadian as a trio. They have been rehearsing for the past few months, preparing to enter the studio to record an upcoming promo EP. More on that development in the coming weeks.
